Step by step to join GUM Swap

Open https://exchange.gourmetgalaxy.io/swap
Now a popup will be triggered, asking us to select a compatible wallet.
Connect an Ethereum wallet such as MetaMask.

You will receive a MetaMask notification asking to connect with GUM Swap, you may click next, and then connect.

That’s it. Now we’re connected to GUM Swap and we’re able to swap tokens or Ethereum.
For this example, let’s say we have some ETH and want to swap it to GUM. Enter the amount you would like to trade. The corresponding price, fees, and other details are listed below.
Once we have the details ready to go, we click on the swap button and confirm the swap.

A notification will pop up from MetaMask asking us to confirm the transaction, we will be shown the gas used to complete the trade.
Within a few minutes, you should have the tokens you purchased directly in your wallet.

Adding Liquidity To the ETH/GUM Pool and getting ETH-GUM Liquidity Pool tokens (LP Tokens)

Adding Liquidity to a pool is the process of contributing equal value amounts of both tokens in a pair, which becomes part of that pair’s pool for swaps.

This will take you to the Liquidity Pooling interface. On the Liquidity Pool interface, you can add liquidity to the pool and see the % of the pool you have.

To add liquidity to the pool, you must add both ETH and GUM at a ratio equal to the current ratio in the pool.

If you do not have the required amount of either token, you will either need to use GUM Swap or Uniswap to get the tokens needed.

After entering the amount of ETH and GUM that you want to add to the pool, click “Add Liquidity”, and follow your wallet’s normal process for submitting the transaction.

Once the transaction has been confirmed, you will receive a quantity of tokens called “LP tokens” that represents your liquidity in the pool. You can think of these “LP tokens” as representing your share of the liquidity pool — think of it like owning shares in the pool, which earn a small reward for every swap that goes through the pool.
